With over 16 years of custom home building and construction management experience, John Kerber is the President and CEO of Dominion Development Company, L.L.C. Prior to founding Dominion Development Company, John earned his Bachelor and Masters of Science Degrees in Construction Management from Michigan State University. John is on the Board of Directors of the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association , Free Enterprise Forum and the Home Builders Association of Virginia. He is also affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders, Professional Builders Council, Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce and Construction Specifications Institute.

Since his company started to shape the Charlottesville and Albemarle County horizon, John has built in some of the area’s finest neighborhoods including Bentivar, Glenmore, Proffit Ridge and Southern Hills. John currently builds 3 to 5 custom homes each year. 

John and his family live in Keswick. He is currently working on a Graduate Master Builder and Certified Green Professional designations established by the National Association of Home Builders.
